Change of mind
Unused, unopened items can be returned within 14 days of delivery in original packaging. Send us an email first and we'll arrange it.
You cover the return postage. We refund the original purchase price, minus the original shipping cost if it was a free-shipping order.
For machines specifically: if you've already pulled shots, water has gone through the boiler, or the machine has been used at all, we can't accept a change-of-mind return for hygiene and resale reasons. If you're not sure whether the machine is right, talk to us before you buy — that's literally what we're here for.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, take photos of the box and contents before unpacking further, and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll cover return freight and either replace or refund.
If a machine develops a fault after install, that's a warranty claim — see our Warranty page for the process. You don't pay for warranty freight either.
How to start a return
- Email sales@coffeemachinespecialist.com.au with your order number and reason.
- We'll send return instructions and the workshop address.
- Pack the item properly — if a courier damages it on the way back, it's no longer eligible for a refund.
- Refund issues to the original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving the return.
What we don't accept returns on
- Coffee beans and other consumables, once opened
- Used machines and grinders (change of mind only)
- Gift cards
- Custom orders
